PLEASE NOTE: Elderberries are known to contain a cyanide-inducing glycoside. Eating a sufficient quantity of these cyanide-inducing glycosides can cause a toxic buildup of cyanide in the body and make you sick. Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and even potential coma. Please check with your provider if this is safe for you to take. This is not recommended for children, pregnant women or women that are breastfeeding.
